I saw the remnants of a goanna, a big lizzard. He had constructed his tent, a lean-to, from some old cloth. Actually Brani-Brani was trying to sell his boomerang. His unemployment benefit, his old age benefit, his aboriginal benefit, his benefit for the poor, everything was finished; he had drunk it all together with his mates Maudi, Jeffrey, Marakutju and some others.
